Mixily is an event hosting platform that allows you to send online invitations to your events. You can manage your guest list and RSVPs, message guests, sell tickets, and more, all with no ads and a strong privacy policy. This quick demo walks you through all the Mixily features, including everything you need to host events for your community.
Mixily is a nimble platform that can be used for all kinds of gatherings, both private and open to the public. Some of our hosts use Mixily to invite people to casual get-togethers like dinners, birthday parties, or other celebrations. Others are using Mixily to invite collaborators to meetings, conferences, or brainstorm sessions. We also have a lot of folks using Mixily for recurring events or classes like yoga, meditation, writers' workshops, or organizing people for outings like hiking clubs or group bike rides. Our interface is streamlined to be efficient for the simplest gathering, with additional features available for more advanced needs like selling tickets or polling guests to select a date.
Obviously. We integrate Giphy for easy gif search. You can also upload any image or GIF you want.
No. Guests can RSVP in one click from their invitation email, or enter their name and email on your event page.
If you aren't making money through Mixily, it's free to use! Our mission is to help people gather. We also support selling tickets directly through the platform. When you make money selling tickets through Mixily, we take a small fee on each purchase.
You can email your guests through Mixily—and even schedule messages to go out at a particular time. You can segment your guest list, in case you need to send messages only to people who are confirmed attending, "maybes" who need a little encouragement (boo), or folks who haven't yet RSVP'd.
That's up to you as a host. You can make your guest list visible to everyone invited or choose to keep it private.
Great! Maybe you're hosting a monthly book club or weekly dance class? You can go to your Calendar and click the three dots to the left of the image on the event you want to duplicate. Then click "duplicate" from the dropdown menu and a copy of your event will be created. You can duplicate any past or upcoming events.
Yep. Your guests who haven't replied will get an automatic reminder 1 week, 1 day, and 1 hour before your event.
Yes! You don't have to invite a specific list of people, you can create a public event. Folks can then sign up to attend and buy tickets, and you'll easily be able to track attendees. You can also set a cap on tickets, so you don't end up with 300 people at your yoga-boxing-drawing class.
Cover images are displayed at a maximum resolution of 748x275, so that's the ideal size to upload.
Mixily is your event hosting platform for IRL, URL and hybrid events. Check out this case study of a hybrid event to see how you can use your Listing Page to link to multiple ticket types, for virtual and in person. Get in touch if you need a hand.
With our Zapier Integration, you can connect Mixily with 3000+ apps! Right now our integration is connected with Mixily Ticketing. For each event you can send the attendee information to Zapier and connect with other apps. To set up the integration, go here on Zapier to connect Mixily with other apps in your workflow.

We have great support for suggested donation events as well as fixed-price tickets. Payments are handled by Stripe, so setup is simple for hosts, and the purchase experience is seamless for guests. Follow these instructions to sell tickets with Stripe.
There are no monthly costs associated with Mixily. To host a free event and collect RSVPs, it's free. To host a ticketed event (including contribution based/donation based tickets), we charge 1% and $.30 per paid ticket sold. There is no charge for free tickets. In addition, our credit card processor charges 2.9% and $.30 per transaction. Try our fee calculator to see how much you'd earn.
We pay out directly to your U.S. bank account. When creating a ticketed event, you will be asked to connect with Stripe. You can log in to an existing Stripe account or create a new one.
Short answer: 2 days after ticket purchase. We use Stripe as our credit card processor. When you first receive payouts from Stripe, it will take 5-7 business days as they validate your account. Every subsequent payout will reach your bank with 2 days.
From your account settings page, click the button to connect a Stripe account. If you don't have an account on stripe.com, you'll be asked to create one. Then, on the event creation page, you can create ticketed events with the "free"/"ticketed" dropdown under the event title.
In your Mixily ticketed event, you can create multiple ticket types to act as a waitlist. Once your tickets reach a capacity, interested buyers can register for free to a waitlist ticket type, then you'll be able to notify them if you release more tickets. To do so create multiple ticket types. The first would be for tickets you're selling, with a capacity. Then make another ticket type for waitlist, include instructions in the description and make that ticket type free.
It's an invitation! Someone is inviting you to attend an event or gathering - it could be a party, a dinner, a meeting, a yoga class, et al. The invitation includes what, where, and when the event is and an easy one-click RSVP button at the bottom, as well as an option to add to your calendar so you remember to go!
