Mixily’s open questions feature lets you gather valuable insights from attendees during the RSVP process, giving you the details you need to make your event a success. Here’s how to use it, and how it enhances the guest experience.

Step 1: Crafting Thoughtful Questions for Guests

Setting up open questions is easy and gives your event a personal touch. Here’s how:

1. Activate the Questions for Guests Feature

• On your event setup page, scroll to the Options section.
• Toggle Questions for Guests to the “on” position. This unlocks the ability to ask your attendees anything you need to know.

2. Create Your Custom Questions

• Click Add Questions to open the editor.
• Think about what you need to know from your guests. For example:

“Do you have any dietary restrictions?”

“What’s one thing you’re hoping to gain from this event?”

“Do you need any special accommodations?”

• Type your question into the field provided.
• Want to ensure everyone answers? Slide the Required toggle to “on.”
• Need multiple answers? Click + Add another question and keep going!

3. Finalize and Save

• Once you’ve added all your questions, close the editor by clicking the X in the top corner.
• Complete any other event details and click Create Event to publish.

Step 2: How Guests Experience Your Questions

Mixily makes it seamless for guests to RSVP and answer your questions. Guests will visit your event page, where the RSVP form is prominently displayed.

Alongside basic details like name and email, your custom questions will appear, guests can type their responses directly into the fields, giving you real-time insights.

If a question is marked as Required, they’ll need to answer before submitting, ensuring you get the critical details.

Step 3: Unveiling the Insights: Viewing Guest Responses

Once RSVPs start rolling in, you’ll have access to all the answers at your fingertips:

1. Navigate to Responses

• Log in to your Mixily dashboard and select your event.
• Head to the RSVP Responses section.

2. Dive into the Details

• Click on any guest’s entry to see their RSVP information and answers.
• For example, if you asked, “Do you have any dietary restrictions?” and a guest responded with “Seafood,” it will appear clearly for your review.

2. Need to organize or analyze the data further? You can easily download all RSVP responses as a CSV file for quick access and offline use. In the event dashboard, you can find an option to download a CSV file containing all RSVP responses along with your guests’ information for easy organization and offline use.
